  • Kimberly Morden, DVM

Dr. Kimberly Morden graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a doctorate of veterinary medicine in 1991. Prior to that she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in  Animal Husbandry with a minor in biochemistry, also at Michigan State University.

While at university, Dr. Morden obtained a grant from the National Institute of Health to research the possibility of a genetic link to alcoholism. Although she has always been interested in research, her love of animals solidified her decision to become a small animal veterinarian, and she completed her doctorate at the age of 24.

Dr. Morden's other passion is to learn about other cultures, preferably by experiencing them first hand. To date she has explored the North and South American Continents, as well as Europe and the Caribbean, with trips to Ghana on the African continent and Japan planned for the near future.

She lives with her husband, John, who is the love of her life, their two cats, Jordan and Leo, and their Boston Terrier, Cookie.

In her spare time she enjoys going for long walks with her mom or husband, researching her next travel destination, fellow-shipping with her brothers and sisters in Christ, reading, and when in the right environment, she is an avid fan of snorkeling and hiking. She is also NAUI certified for SCUBA, but needs to get her husband certified, also, so that she can get back to exploring the underwater world.
